Cookie Policy

Last updated: 25 March 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Grampians.AI uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website and use our platform. We believe in transparency and want you to understand exactly what data is stored on your device.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help the website remember your preferences, keep you signed in, and understand how you use the service.

We also use similar technologies such as local storage and session storage for the same purposes. Throughout this policy, we refer to all of these technologies collectively as "cookies."

2. Essential Cookies

These cookies are strictly necessary for the platform to function. They cannot be disabled.

Authentication — Session cookies that keep you signed in to your Grampians.AI dashboard. These expire when you log out or after 30 days of inactivity.

Security — CSRF (Cross-Site Request Forgery) tokens that protect your account from unauthorised actions.

Preferences — Your chosen theme (light/dark mode) is stored in local storage so it persists between visits.

These cookies do not track you across other websites and contain no personally identifiable information beyond your session ID.

3. Analytics Cookies

We currently do not use third-party analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics) on our platform. We may introduce privacy-respecting analytics in the future.

If we add analytics, this policy will be updated and you will be notified. Any analytics we adopt will comply with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and will not sell or share your data with advertisers.

4. Third-Party Cookies

Some services we integrate with may set their own cookies:

Stripe — Our payment processor may set cookies during the checkout process to prevent fraud and process payments securely. These cookies are governed by Stripe's own privacy policy.

Google OAuth — If you sign in with Google or connect Google Calendar, Google may set authentication cookies. These are governed by Google's privacy policy.

We do not allow advertising or social media tracking cookies on our platform.

5. Managing Cookies

You can manage cookies through your browser settings:

Most browsers allow you to view, delete, and block cookies. Note that blocking essential cookies will prevent you from using the Grampians.AI dashboard.

Common browser settings:

• Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies

• Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies

• Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data

• Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions

Theme preference: You can change your light/dark mode preference from the header toggle. This is the only preference cookie we store.

For more information about managing cookies, visit allaboutcookies.org.
